I’m jealous of all the freshies because I want to go to NSO again. FML

Why are you jealous…we can do whatever they’re doing, but we don’t fear everything past 40th.

if you’re a peer advisor, you get to move in early for free (and basically have a week to do whatever)
-
Blintz
Move in early. Problem solved. Next!

good news
You’re mistaken. NSO as a sophomore is amazing (you get to see all of your friends again, party, and skip out on the day events)
-
2014
is it fun?

2013
I’m just doing NSO again…I don’t care

love penn
oh sweetie you have no idea… i didnt eat for all of nso cause i was so hungover everyday… i hooked up with a guy close to every night… basically the best intro to the best school.
-
That's not why
Don’t worry, 2014, not everyone’s like “love penn” during NSO. It’s not all about drinking and hook ups. It’s just an overall fun experience.

2013

sh*t girl, i feel you. i’m in the same situation

OldSoulMaid
Come on now, times have changed. It’s about being with the right person, not engaged by a certain age. All due respect an word to your mother–that’s awesome if things worked out so early for her. However, your twenties are a good time to “have fun” and learn about yourself, i.e figure out the person you want to be as well as the type of person you want to be with. You’re probably most likely to find happiness if you just focus on having quality relationships with others (and yourself)–regardless of whether they’re romantic or platonic.
-
Just curious
Are you trying to say soulmate?
-
OldSoulMaid
Close…ish. It was a play on “Old Soul” and “Old Maid” as well as a stretched version of “Soul Mate.” But the gist of my message was to focus on your own happiness (during your “maid” years) instead of rushing into matronhood and worry only about finding a “mate.” Dig?

Probably

Course review that shit. Ask upperclassmen and the PHINs. Advance registration doesn’t end for freshmen until like July 23! And you can shop classes for the first two weeks of the semester.
Tl;dr: You’ll be fine.

Penn has tons of great classes, but I understand that you’re worried about what to take AS a freshman. My advice would be not to let being a freshman get in the way– you can basically take whatever you want and what you’re most passionate about.

this is penn. with a few exceptions, they are pretty much all good.

Quaker’s right; most people have a problem because they want to take too many classes.
